The iOS application features a Talking Watch functionality that vocally announces the current time in six different languages. Users can customize the frequency of these announcements to occur every minute, two minutes, three minutes, five minutes, six minutes, ten minutes, twelve minutes, fifteen minutes, twenty minutes, or thirty minutes.

For those who upgrade their devices to iOS 17.6.1 or later, the app expands its language options to over 50 languages and allows operation in the background.

In scenarios where regular reminders are necessary—every second, five seconds, ten seconds, or thirty seconds—the Talking Timer component of this app proves invaluable. It supports both countdown and count-up features, with the ability to vocalize either the number counted or the elapsed duration, as well as the current time in hour:minute:second format.

While the Talking Watch does not provide announcements at specific times with designated durations or communicate text messages, the Talking Reminder feature addresses these needs effectively. This function includes one-time reminders, interval reminders, and recurring notifications on an hourly, daily, or monthly basis. It can articulate the time or relay text messages at preset intervals.

Additionally, the app includes several other features such as a talking calculator, talking counter, talking sound recorder, and talking notes.

• Talking Sound: Users can record sound files and input text notes related to those recordings. Sounds captured via Apple Watch are automatically transferred to the iPhone.
• Talking Notes: Accessible on Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad, this feature allows notes to be vocalized even when the device is locked. Users can input daily notes and select their preferred talking languages.
• Talking Calculator: Available on Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad but currently supports English only. The interface for digits and operators differs between devices; on iPhones and iPads they are displayed simultaneously while they are separated on the Apple Watch. After entering a number, users are prompted to input an operator sequentially. An adjustable input delay ranges from one to five seconds is provided for convenience. Upon displaying the result, a red button allows users to utilize that result in subsequent calculations.
• Talking Counter: In Apple Watch mode, users can increment the counter by tapping a large button. The app retains this value even after closing unless explicitly reset. Users can select available languages for vocal output through general settings.
• Talking Location: This feature announces the current longitude and latitude. If the device maintains a stable internet connection, location names are provided promptly; slower connections may delay responses.
• Talking Reminder: Optimized for Apple Watch notifications specifically.

The Talking Watch function must operate in background mode when connected via Bluetooth to speakers or headphones. Additionally, users with iOS version 13.0 or newer can have incoming phone calls announced by the app after accepting a call—allowing both parties to hear these vocalizations through their devices.
